Research Interests

I am interested in problems which exhibit layer phenomena, in particular boundary layers and corner singularities. Much of my work has dealt with bounding derivatives of solutions to singularly perturbed convection-diffusion problems. These bounds allow for the construction of efficient meshes and for error analysis. I have also done some work on reaction-diffusion problems.
